I recently moved back to America - well, sort of America - it's Los Angeles. It's a good majority of Americans, but not the real kind. It's a weird place full of weird people and as always, I am in constant pursuit of adventure. I've taken a vow of poverty with Americorps VISTA in the most superficial place on the planet - it's quite the dichotomy.
Hard hats under every seat in the temple - security precaution since it's been blown up a few times- couldn't take pictures of the security guards in bullet-proof yarmulkas who strip-searched me.

I enjoy quiet nights at home, swordfighting against the cat with kebab skewers and creating pop-up books from meaningful Emily Dickinson poetry. I have written a novel titled Run Away To Impress Your Friends and Family that I am still attempting to publish while working on a second novel. Run Away is a work of fiction about a young girl who travels the globe seeking adventure and ways to "help." I have been lucky enough to travel and live in other countries and the novel includes backdrops in China, Turkey, El Salvador and the U.S.

Gee, I would love to sit around and eat fried bread, but the whole having a boss at home thing just doesn't appeal to me yet. I wish I could get a cat that was also a rich CEO so that I too could live the life of leisure. . .and CONGRATULATIONS on the happy nuptials!!! As you can tell, I'm wicked jealous. . .
